Experimental photography by American multimedia artist Lisa Oppenheim (b. 1975) exploring stereoscopy, a technique popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to create a 3D effect. Source material is taken from the image archive of the American Colony in Jerusalem, now housed in the Library of Congress Collection, and includes images of wild flowers from Palestine and a swarm of locusts in the Judean desert.
