Hogarth & The Art of Noise

Exploring the noise of 18th century London through the art of William Hogarth. The display features sound, wall-based interpretation, engravings, and a specially-commissioned immersive soundscape by musician and producer Martyn Ware (Human League). The exhibition also features a new work by contemporary British artist Nicola Bealing called A New Song (To An Old Tune), prints and paintings exploring the narratives found in18th-century broadside ballads.
